Dynamic pile monitoring tests are cost effective and are carried out with minimum disruption to piling operations.

The test can be performed on any concrete or steel piles by attaching transducers (strain gauges and accelerometers) onto the pile. During pile monitoring, the attached transducers measure the force and the velocity.

The measured signals are recorded and analysed using the Pile Dynamic Analyzer (PDA) to provide:

• Estimate of the soil resistance mobilised during the test
• Maximum stress and shaft integrity in the pile
• Measurement of piling hammer system efficiency
