Fugro has been associated with offshore site investigations and engineering for more than 40 years and is recognized world wide as the industry's technological leader. Fugro has been in South-East Asia for more than 35 years and has established wide recognition within the major oil & petroleum companies in the region.
Fugro has a network of offices throughout the world including the South-East Asia region. This enables Fugro to provide high quality geotechnical services, as local experienced and qualified engineers are enhanced by our international support and expertise.
Fugro applies geotechnics to the analysis, design and installation of all marine structures. Our in-house offshore investigation capabilities cover the complete water depth range from shallow inshore waters to the full ocean depth.
Within South-East Asia, Fugro owns and operates dedicated geotechnical drill ship, the MV Mariner (pictured). The vessel is equipped with a six point mooring system with the capability to anchor in very soft to hard bottoms in a maximum water depth of about 200 meters. A drilling derrick positioned over the central moonpool making it a stable working platform during drilling operations. Downhole tools and seabed equipment are available for sampling, coring and in-situ testing of all strata from very soft clay to hard rock.
In addition to the MV Mariner, the full suite of Fugro geotechnical tools is available through the South-East Asia offices. Please contact us for further details.
